Thank you…
All set up at Truro Cathedral for the ‘Artisan Makers 2 day market’- Such a beautiful venue!
I just want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported my small business this year. Truly, I’ve been blown away. In an economic climate where small often can’t compete with big, somehow I’m beginning to thrive—and that’s entirely because of you. Cornish Piskies have been taking flight all over the place! I’m so humbled and grateful for every single person who discovered me for the first time this year. If that’s you—hello and welcome!
Behind the scenes:
It’s now been a whole year since we moved to Mevagissey, and it has absolutely flown by. I’m still creating everything from a single desk in my living room, which feels a little wild—but next year I’m hoping to finally build a proper workspace! Alongside running Bear & Pickle, I work in a beautiful local hotel, the Tremarne, and part-time in The Roberts Gallery, where I also sell my gifts. Add to that being mum to Bear, Pickle, and our little pup Rusty… and life is certainly full!
This year I attended Christmas markets in Truro, St Ives, and Healeys, and I even took a gamble on two brand-new venues—one in south Cornwall and one in mid Cornwall. In total, I’ve managed seven days of fairs, my busiest year yet. Next year, I’m planning to do even more! I’m really excited to spread my wings and see where Bear & Pickle takes me in 2026.
Thank you again for being part of this journey. Your belief in my tiny business means the world. LAST DAY FOR ONLINE ORDERING IS SATURDAY 13th DECEMBER.
Making use of every part of my small desk, its a riot of colour!
